A-You will need a custom cut acid free matte to fit a PBW print. A double cut matte looks best, but be sure to have the matte custom sized for a nice fit.

*Regular store bought mattes are usually the wrong size and are not acid free , staining the print over a period of time.

4. Q -Who makes the PBW prints?

A-All our prints are made in house by PBW, thus ensuring every print conforms to the highest possible standards.

5. Q -How long will a PBW print last?

A-Our Archival Prints are rated at 75-100+ years light fastness.

By comparison Non-Archival prints are rated at 25+ years light fastness.

The longevity of each print will vary depending on humidity, temperature and sunlight (UV rays). For best longevity hang out of direct sunlight.

6. Q -What is the total print run of PBW Limited Edition Prints?

A- PBW Limited Edition prints have a max. print run of 2500, 1000, 500 or 250 prints, as listed in individual print details. Please note the print size does not effect the numbering, the maximum print run indicated is the absolute total number of prints in all sizes combined.

7. Q -Are PBW prints signed and do they have titles?

A-Yes, all PBW prints are signed and have titles.

8. Q -Are PBW prints digitally altered?

A- Only on rare occasions, prints are Sepia Toned or ear tags from a bear's ears have been digitally removed. Our primary objective is to produce high quality natural looking Art which is not digitally altered, however we feel on rare occasions Sepia Toning and removal of distracting ear tags (buttons) is an acceptable practice.

10. Q -What is the difference between Archival & Non-Archival prints?

A- Archival prints are made with ultrachrome pigment inks on Archival Paper and are light fastness rated at 75-100+ years before fading.

Non-Archival Prints are made with dye based inks on Non-Archival Paper and are light fastness rated at 25+ years before fading.

*Note-These ratings only apply to prints hung in ideal conditions, longevity will vary depending on a number of factors such as amount of UV exposure, room temperature, humidity, etc.

11. Q -Does PBW have matted or framed prints?

A-Sorry, not at this time - we ship our prints worldwide offering some of the lowest prices on the internet. By keeping it simple You not only save a pile of money, but you have the opportunity to choose from a wider selection of mattes and frames from your local art supplier to satisfy your own preferences!

12. Q -Are PBW prints Guaranteed?

A-Yes, PBW guarantees each print to be manufactured free from defects in material & workmanship or we will replace it free of charge.

13. Q -How are PBW prints shipped?

A-PBW prints are shipped via Canada Post Corporation or via an International Courier such as Purolator (please specify when ordering or email us for more shipping options). All prints are shipped in specially made 4" diameter mailing tubes, thus keeping the shipping costs down and providing more than adequate protection. However please be careful when removing the prints from the tubes.

14. Q -Are PBW prints insured prior to shipping?

A-Yes, all merchandise is covered against loss or shipping damage by Canada Post Corporation or Purolator Courier insurance (please do not accept damaged packaging).
